Project Iodine
This high-profile enabling package marked a significant step in delivering a major development involving deep basement construction and full site preparation. The project called for careful coordination across multiple disciplines, from site-wide service identification to bulk excavation and strategic sequencing to support piling and crane operations. Our ability to deliver complex infrastructure in fast-paced environments was crucial to the success of this phase.
- Site entrance construction and welfare facility foundations established early
- Complete site clearance, including paving, kerbs, tarmac, vegetation and trees
- 550m contiguous piled wall with capping beam and pile probing
- Full drainage installation with cast iron foul and storm systems including gullies, Aco channels, pump stations and interceptors
- Over 3,000m³ of site-won materials crushed and recycled for reuse in piling mat and haul roads
- Double basement bulk excavation with phased dig to maintain piling and crane sequencing
- Approx. 150,000m³ muck shift with daily peak of 250 lorry loads managed by two Hitachi 30T units
