T Vaughan Ltd was appointed to deliver the full scope of enabling, excavation, waterproofing, and reinforced concrete works for a technically demanding multi-level basement in a highly constrained footprint. This project showcased our strength in complex temporary works, deep basement construction, and specialist RC detailing — all executed with a safety-first, solution-led approach. Working from ground to roof level, we delivered the project from demolition to superstructure interface. Our team's integration with the wider construction programme ensured efficient sequencing, safe working at depth, and outstanding productivity — achieving up to 49 muck-away loads daily with precision logistics and plant control.
- Removal of existing basement perimeter walls and obstructions to enable piling works.
- Piling attendance, muck-away, and secant wall support.
- Pile cropping and capping beam construction, including shear plates and service penetrations.
- Bulk excavation to a depth of 19.3m, supported by 4 levels of ground force and Super Mega Bracing.
- Full structural waterproofing using Xypex Concrete & Delta Membrane systems.
- RC works to raft slab, liner walls, stair/lift cores, columns, and slabs up to the 1st floor.
