T Vaughan Ltd are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees and others who may be affected by our activities. We are committed to eliminating, reducing and managing the risks to safety and occupational health so far as is reasonably practicable, to prevent injury and ill health and promote a positive safety culture for physical and mental wellbeing.

This includes a commitment to fulfilling our legal requirements under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and to achieving the highest levels of health and safety performance through continual improvement and adopting best practices as standard.

Health and safety is an integral part of our business and has equal status to other aspects of business performance. Appropriate financial and physical resources will therefore be provided to implement and comply with this policy. This will include the provision and maintenance of adequate and suitable working conditions, welfare, plant and equipment, training, means for the safe handling and storage of materials and substances and emergency arrangements.

We recognise that successful safety and occupational health management can only be achieved with the support and commitment of all our employees, starting with Senior Management. We shall consult with employees, their representatives and key subcontractors on all matters affecting their health and safety. We will actively encourage them to take ownership of health and safety and empower them to provide feedback and assist in decision making.

Roles, responsibilities and specific arrangements for health and safety are defined in our Integrated Management System (IMS) which conforms to the requirements of ISO 45001:2023+A1:2024.

T Vaughan Ltd are committed to the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution. The organisation is further committed to ensuring that all its activities are carried out in compliance with the relevant environmental legislation and non-legal compliance obligations.

Environmental Protection will have equal status to considerations for Health, Safety and Production Quality and the company shall adopt the principle of continuous improvement and set targets and objectives for performance.

The organisation seeks to minimise waste arising, promote recycling, reduce energy consumption, reduce harmful emissions and, where possible, to work with suppliers who themselves have sound environmental policies.

An essential feature of the environmental management system is a commitment to continual improvement of environmental performance. This is achieved by setting annual environmental improvement objectives and targets which are regularly monitored and reviewed. The objectives and targets are publicised throughout the organisation and all staff are committed to their achievement.

In order to ensure the achievement of the above commitments, the organisation has implemented an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of ISO 14001:2015+A1:2024 and we are committed to its continual improvement.

T Vaughan Ltd is committed to achieving the highest standards of quality throughout all business activities. We aim to provide all our works safely, in line with agreed contract requirements, meeting the expectations of the client and stakeholders and satisfying all other applicable requirements, within an agreed budget and resulting in a profit to the organisation.

T Vaughan Ltd recognises the importance to its future by adopting a strategy, which bases the development of its business on the pursuit of quality throughout the organisation. Our policy strategy is:

  • To maintain a Quality Management System which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015+A1:2024, and any other client specific quality requirements. This has involved defining our business context and ensuring that our management system is aligned to and integral to our strategic business direction.
  • To consistently provide products and services in a manner that will satisfy client requirements in all respects.
  • To implement appropriate actions to address any risks and opportunities associated with internal / external issues, and to meet the needs and expectations of interested parties.
  • To ensure all organisation personnel are fully competent to carry out their assigned tasks to a high standard.
  • To control and continually monitor all projects undertaken.
  • To comply as a minimum with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify risks and opportunities as they present themselves to the business and establish, communicate, monitor, and review quality objectives on a regular basis in order to foster continual improvement in all our activities.

We are committed to the involvement of all our staff in implementing and continually improving the effectiveness of this system and will provide the personnel and resources to ensure that the importance of meeting and exceeding customer requirements is communicated and understood throughout our organisation.

The requirements of this policy will apply to all people who affect the quality of the service provided by the organisation to its clients, this includes all staff and suppliers working with or on behalf of the organisation.

The Directors are fully committed to the above and actively encourage a similar commitment by personnel at all levels of the organisation.

The goal of continual improvement will be managed by reviewing the operational systems, setting objectives for areas of improvement, which will then be regularly reviewed and revised.

Periodic auditing of our IMS will be undertaken to ensure its continued suitability and effectiveness and we will review this policy at least annually and revise it as often as is appropriate.
